Green Day – Revolution Radio
Punk/Alt Rock, October 7
Revolution Radio is the twelfth studio album by punk rock group Green Day. Green Day’s career has spanned thirty years as of 2016, and this record marks the first time the band has recorded as a trio since 2009. The album has been described by the band members as more stripped down and dirty than other recent albums, and closer to their older work. The album focuses heavily on current political issues in the United States today; the first single focused on the recent rash of shootings that have occurred in the last few years. Revolution Radio might be good for those into a hard rock or someone looking for Green Day to return to a sound that’s a little closer to their roots.

Punk Rock, October 7
First Ditch Effort is the thirteenth studio album by Los Angeles-based punk rock band NOFX (pronounced NO-EF-EX). Although not as popular as other bands labelled under the punk rock genre, NOFX has remained a contender and influence in the underground (meaning you won’t hear it on the radio) and DIY (do-it-yourself) punk scene. First Ditch Effort is a good choice for those who are into punk rock or underground music.

Lady Gaga – Joanne
Pop, October 21
Joanne is the upcoming fifth studio album by Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga, known for her outlandish stage presence and public appearances, has taken a much more subdued approach in the media in the last few years. Artpop, her third studio album, was released to mixed response from critics, and has resulted in the change in Lady Gaga’s public image and music. Her last effort, Cheek to Cheek, was a jazz album and a departure from her previous work. Joanne looks to continue this trend in Gaga’s career. This album might be good for those looking for something and a little different from Lady Gaga, and fans of pop in general.
