Over the last year, the amount of time people have been spending on their phones has increased dramatically. Many people around the world have spent their extra time scrolling through the internet doing who knows what. While in quarantine, social media has boomed, and that includes Facebook. There are probably over one hundred different Vashon Facebook Groups, but this list has narrowed it down to the top five recommendations.

To quote this Facebook Group’s “About” section, “if you get offended then this isn’t the group for you!” Joining the group is a solid option for getting comedic relief, while also getting mad about the world. Alongside posts about sales, there are many community updates on this group. Scroll through the latest updates on schools, public events, and clubs across the island. Out of all the groups to join, this one definitely has the greatest sense of small-town friendliness.

This group is for those who like the other Vashon Facebook Groups, but just want to get to some serious business. People sell everything from cars to bedframes to pies. This is a great option to shop around without actually spending money.
